Just a few words from Miss Ashleigh....who am I kidding. it's more than a few words. I talk way too much.
Hello to 2020! I can't WAIT to see all the smiling faces again back in class. We have a very exciting year planned, so I urge you to read the newsletter, connect with us over social media, get involved and experience all the smashing good times.
My family and I had a wonderful holiday season and spent a lot of time swimming and enjoying the amazing local beaches. I hope that no one was severely impacted by the fires. If you were and you need assistance please know you can reach out to our community.
NOW FOR 2020!
If you haven't registered for classes, please do so. You can easily register for your classes online here
We have also had expressions of interest for more afternoon classes. I have added mroe classes to the timetable so I am sure you will find something to suit you.
Presentation Day for 2020 will be moved to the end of term 3! You may ask why? A few reasons, but mainly because Christmas can get a bit hectic and not to mention hot! I honestly believe the kids will put on a better performance as we will all be less stressed. Term 4 will focus on improving technique and we may have a mini end of year celebration with a disco/showcase or awards night (still in planning mode).
Without boring you too much, I have been working our programs over the last couple weeks and I am so excited. Arts education is a HUGE passion of mine and we have developed programs that teach through Conceptual based learning and bring elements of The Australian Curriculum into our lessons for Primary aged children. This will directly benefit each students' broader education while developing technical dance skills. For me, I am incredibly excited.
With a HUGE year ahead make sure you stay in the loop. If you are registered for classes please join our PRIVATE FACEBOOK GROUP, so you don't miss information. There will be more detailed information provided in this group.
Please feel free to contact me any time to ask questions or to say hello!
See you soon
