Just a few words from Miss Ashleigh....who am I kidding. it's more than a few words. I talk way too much.
Firstly I want to Thank everyone for their patience over the past couple of months. With growth comes a few road bumps and I am still playing catch up. I am getting some help with admin soon (yay!) so I will be able to respond to emails a lot quicker. In the meantime catch me before or after class or send me a text message.
As you are aware there are a few dates where classes will not be on. I apologise for the disruption to the term. I have kids performing in Wakakirri (Storytelling through Dance competitions for School kids), so I will have two HUGE days at NIDA (which I am very excited about) and then I am taking my little family on a holiday to Samoa to fill my cup! I will not be taking my laptop (which I have done on past holidays) so if I don't reply please note I will get back to you as soon as possible.
Now to more fun stuff...
We have some really exciting events coming up and I urge you all to get involved. One that I am working on is going to be held in November, at my favourite cafe in Cronulla. This will be High Tea with the Sugar Plum Fairy. The event involves a retelling of the Nutcracker, a performance from the Sugar Plum Fairy and a chance to have High Tea with her as well. Did I mention it also involves a great coffee for parents? Stay tuned as there are limited seats for this event and I have a feeling it will be very popular.
When I started Smashed It, I dreamed of a place that children are more than just dancers, but create beautiful memories, extend families and a place they feel safe and welcome. I can already see wonderful friendships being formed, not just in the kids but the parents as well. It truly makes my heart swell - Let's keep it going.
Enough from me! Please head back to the newsletter for more important information!
